ZIM SISTERS UNLEASH THE TEARS

The game is on and tears have started running in the house. During dinner in Downville Zimbabwean Housemates Maneta and Teclar broke into tears following their Nominations. Zimbabwe was selected using the Random Nomination Mechanism introduced by Big Brother during the Live launch Show alongside Tanzania bringing the number of Nominated Housemates to four. Teclar cried about how she had left her job and how much she had sacrificed to be in the game while her sister Maneta just thought it was unfair. The Housemates tried calming the inconsolable siblings down but not even being tucked neatly in Seydou’s arms helped Maneta. The Housemates insisted that this could be one of Biggie’s twists so they just had to be strong and have fun. They seem very desperate for the $300,000............ WHO WOULDNT BE? What do you think abt this?

Ethiopia OUT, Sierra Leone & Liberia IN............. New Price $300,000

This year the price money has been increased to $300,000.
I mean that's a whole load of cash. The competitions will definitely be steep. Let the games begin.

Big Brother Africa this year has also added two new countries to participate .They are Sierra Leone and Liberia. The two countries have never been in the show before but this year they will be incorporated in this experience. However, Ethiopia is out of the game and the Big brother producers have announced that Mozambique will take on a new role that they will make known very soon.

Why do you think Ethiopia is OUT?

Big Brother Africa 7 "DOUBLE UP" – new twist and requirements!

New developments have been put in place this year.
Unlike in the past, the winners reward is USD 300 000. Awesome! Right?
Secondly, the producers of Big brother have claimed that the entrants must double –up to compete. This means that you audition as two friends or couples.

Regardless of how the entrants are related to each other the key requirement from BBA is that the entrants must be a pair!

“The really big news this season is that entrants must enter as pairs. In the past we’ve seen a natural and continuous cross-over between individuals and their families, their friends. So this year, we decided to include that as part of the game. It will definitely make a dramatic addition to the series so we urge people to enter and experience what will be a uniquely different Big Brother Africa!”

Here is the list of countries that are eligible to participate:
Angola, Botswana, Ghana, Kenya, Liberia, Malawi, Namibia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
Reportedly, the series starts on Sunday May 6. It will be screened across the continent in 47 countries, for 91 days on DSTV channel 198.
Big brother Africa representative requirements:
The pair should have all this requirements;

1. Must be 21 years old
2. Must be from the countries listed above
3. Must be fluent in English
4. Must have a valid passport

The online entry forms will be available from 5th February and the deadline of the application is February 27, 2012.
If you are interested in participating, you can log onto www.mnetafrica.com/bigbrother and fill in an entry form online.
You can also download an entry form from the website, complete and email it back to bba@endemol.co.za.

Housemate on Brazilian version of Big Brother was 'RAPED" on live TV after alcohol-fueled party

A housemate on Brazil's version of Big Brother has been raped live on TV, it has been alleged.
Police today confirmed they had begun an investigation and carried out a search of the studios in Rio de Janeiro, where the popular reality show is being filmed.
Viewers were shocked in the early hours of Sunday to watch contestant Daniel Echaniz 31, apparently force himself on 23-year-old student Monique Amin, who had passed out drunk after a boozy party.

Night cameras fimed Echaniz, a male model, get into the bed where Ms Amin was sleeping before appearing to have sex with her under the covers.
Throughout the incident the female contestant appeared unconscious.
The next morning Ms Amin was asked about the incident in the diary room, and appeared to know little of what had happened.
As the scandal began to engulf the show, one of Brazil's most watched TV programmes, police officers arrived at the house and interviewed Ms Amin for three hours, before taking her away for a rape examination, according to sources.
